How do I calculate how much ventilation is needed?

Codes require the 1/300 rule (or 1/150 in some cases), meaning 1 square foot of ventilation per 300 square feet of attic space. The correct amount depends on NFA and system balance. Their Ventilation Calculator helps simplify this.
