Placed on eave edges, they completely fill the void along the lower roof edge, keeping birds and other pests from entering and nesting underneath the roof tiles, with a weep hole to allow moisture under the tile to escape. Offered in a range of colors to complement your tiles, they blend seamlessly with the roof’s appearance, maintaining the visual integrity of the roofline while providing essential protection.

Constructed of durable, UV-resistant aluminum with a synthetic release liner, it’s designed to contour to complex shapes for a clean, seamless appearance — with a peel-off butyl adhesive for quick and easy installation. 

Our easy-to-install hip starter tile is designed to complete a beautiful traditional tile look. Simply begin on the eave edge and continue up the rake with hip/ridge/rake trim tile. For applications requiring intersections of multiple hips (or ridge and hips), hip starter tile can be coped to provide a seamless, sophisticated appearance.
