At the heart of the Quarrix system, is our philosophy of innovating products that will protect your investment while enhancing the beauty of your tile roof. Since a roof is built from the bottom up, its foundation must be properly protected to guarantee the roof’s long-term success and lasting beauty. Tile roofs stay beautiful longer when they are properly installed using our complete system of tile components. They provide the foundational support tile roofs need to protect against aging and fail points caused by water drainage, poor air-circulation, mortar joints and challenging roof angles. Quarrix tile components provide superior long-term performance for your peace of mind.
DryRoof Battens are an industry staple and serve more than one purpose. They’re installed directly to the roof deck before any tile is laid on the roof. Elevating the tile off the roof deck not only creates proper drainage but also allows air to move freely, keeping the roof deck properly ventilated. A key component of the Quarrix DryRoof Batten is the UV-resistant, corrugated, HDPE plastic material that it's made from. The HDPE material is 100% resistant to moisture allowing it to withstand years of rain, snow and ice buildup. Wood battens are prone to rotting and cracking, which make plastic battens the superior alternative and a vital component to the Quarrix System Advantage.
