Protecting homes from trapped moisture is critical. Quarrix Furring Strips allow moisture and air to pass freely underneather siding, creating a natural drainage system. When moisture is trapped it has a negative impact on siding or cladding as well as house wrap. It can also lead to mold and mildew buildup. Quarrix Furring Strips are approved for primarily low-rise construction and with most exterior cladding systems including wood, fiber-cement, vinyl, stucco, and EIFS systems.
