Quarrix Flow-Thru furring strips feature a ventilation system to help protect your exterior cladding from the damaging affects of moisture. This moisture can come in the form of wind-driven rain outside the home or moisture vapor from inside the home. In either case this moisture can remain trapped between the exterior cladding/siding and the building paper/house wrap. This unvented moisture can have a negative impact on the siding or cladding system as well as the building paper or house wrap.
